4.1 The subject of the contract is the provision of technical support services for Palo Alto Networks network equipment.
4.2 A detailed description of the subject matter of the contract can be found in Appendix 1 and in the contract template Appendix 7 (respectively for the contract variant used).

4.4 The Contracting Authority provides for the submission of variant offers. The variants are described in detail in Appendix 1 to the Terms of Reference.
4.4.1. Option I – Technical support service for network devices used in the City of Lodz with the right to update the software and databases/signatures/etc.,
4.4.2. Option II – Replacement of network devices owned by the Ordering Party along with technical support service and the right to update the owned software and databases/signatures/etc.
4.5 The Contracting Authority has specified two variants of the Description of the Subject of the Contract. It is up to the Contracting Authority to make the final choice of the variant of the implementation of the subject of the contract. Contractors, under pain of rejection of the offer, are obliged to quote only one of the options. In the present proceedings, the Contracting Authority will make a decision regarding the choice of the variant of the performance of the subject of the contract after the date of opening the tenders. The Contractors' bids will be subject to examination and evaluation of offers only within the selected variant by the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority shall select the variant of the implementation of the subject of the Contract, taking into account the financial resources it intends to allocate to finance the Contract. The Contracting Authority indicates that the selection of a given variant of the contract will be determined by the lowest price among the submitted offers. As part of the "price" criterion for the evaluation of bids, the Contracting Authority will evaluate Option I or Option II selected by the Contracting Authority for the performance of the contract. In the event that the Contractor's bid is rejected in the course of the tender examination/the Contractor is excluded or after the tender has been selected, the Contractor refrains from signing the contract, and the offer from a different Option than the one originally assessed will be the most advantageous, the Contracting Authority will evaluate the Contractor's bid in this variant. In order to examine abnormally low prices, the Contracting Authority will examine bids of the same variant, i.e. bids submitted in option I and bids submitted separately in option II.
