In connection with the planning for a bridge over Bjørnafjorden (E39 Stord — Os) in Os/Tysnes kommune [municipality], Statens vegvesen Region vest (Prosjektavdelinga) [the Norwegian Public Roads Administration Western Region (the Project Department)] will examine bedrock in the bridge landing areas. The purpose of the procurement is to implement geological bedrock surveys to map the ground conditions and rock matter quality (type of rock, structure orientation, fracture systems, weakness zones, etc.) for founding and anchoring by using core drilling and optical viewer.

Execution of core boring, field reporting, drill-hole optical televiewer (OPTV) investigations, data processing and interpretation/reporting.
