Women's academy

The object of the measure "Women's Academy" pursuant to § 16 sec. 1 sentence 1 SGB II in conjunction with § 45 sec. 1 sentence 1 nos. 1, 3 and 5 SGB III is the combination of elements for

- pre-accession to the training and labour market as well as

Identification, reduction or removal of barriers to placement

- Mediation into an employment subject to insurance

- Stabilization of employment

The target group are women who are close to the labour market and want to return to work. As a rule, the women already have completed vocational training or a university degree (this may not be recognised in Germany) or several years of gainful employment/professional experience subject to social security contributions.

Participants must have at least B1 language skills, preferably B2. Any necessary childcare must be ensured before it is assigned to the measure

The objectives of the measure are:

- resource-oriented profiling

- Deepening of previous knowledge / determination of concrete competencies and resources

- Review, determine and strengthen motivation

- imparting knowledge relevant to the job and labour market

- Assistance in finding jobs

- Strengthening self-confidence

- Assessment and increase of the chances of integration

- Placement in employment subject to social security contributions

- Support in returning to work

The allocation period for a participant is 4 months.

The measure is carried out part-time in the morning. The duration of the week is generally 20 hours.

If, if necessary, a further stay in the measure seems to make sense (e.g. initiation of employment subject to social security contributions), the allocation can be extended by up to 2 months.

A total capacity of 45 entries must be provided for the participants.

The transition takes place in the first 9 months of the measure with 5 participants each.

The end of the allocation corridor is 28.02.2024.

For each successful, sustainable integration into the labour or training market, an integration fee of up to EUR 2,000 per placement is paid. A placement rate of 20% (9 participants at full capacity) is used.
