The subject matter of the contract is the conclusion of a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement for the acquisition of Microsoft licenses by means of a declaration of accession to the terms of the framework agreement: Group contract BMI, contract no.: 8458772 (BMI EA Component Master Agreement) within the framework of the Microsoft Volume Licensing Program with BMI eligibility together with the order of a fixed number of software licenses ("initial order") in accordance with the appendix to the bill of quantities/price sheet.

The Bundesinnungskrankenkasse Gesundheit (Federal Guild Health Insurance Fund) – or BIG direkt gesund for short – is Germany's first statutory direct health insurance fund and is open nationwide. BIG was founded in 1996 by the Federal Guild of Hearing Aid Acousticians. BIG currently serves around 514,000 policyholders throughout Germany (as of December 2022). Like all statutory health insurance companies, BIG is a corporation under public law. More than 960 employees work at the head office in Dortmund, the legal headquarters in Berlin and the customer centres. As an IKK regional association, BIG also represents the interests of the insured persons of the guild health insurance funds in Berlin. Within this framework, it performs numerous tasks of representing interested parties, either alone or together with the associations of the local, substitute and company health insurance funds.
