The Traben-Trarbach Association of Municipalities is responsible for the water supply in the Traben-Trarbach Association and is modernizing the local water supply systems. As part of the overall measure, various elevated tanks will be renovated, new local connecting lines will be built and a new deep well will be sunk.

As part of the award procedure here, the FO and telecommunication cable system will be put out to tender in lot 4-06.

The main dimensions for this lot 4-06 FO / Telecommunication Cable System are:

Complete fiber optic / communication cable system, essentially:

- approx. 70 000 m micro pipe (insert 5 pipes in the existing empty pipe system) together with accessories;

- approx. 350 single / multiple seals for microtube;

- Approx. 27,000 m monomode fiber optic cable (24 fibers) for microtube;

- approx. 45 splice boxes / connection sets for fiber optic cables and connection of the fiber optic cables;

- approx. 20 checks on the transmission properties of the fiber optic cables;

- approx. 14 000 m telecommunication cable (20 pairs), laid in the empty pipe, together with connection;

- approx. 20 connection sets for FM cables;

- approx. 10 checks on the transmission properties of the FM cable;

- Approx. 15 telecommunications distributors (LSA-plus technology) for FM cables;

- Lightning / surge protection for FM cables;

- approx. 3 wall cabinets;

- project planning and documentation.
