Bergen Vann KF operates the municipal water and sewage facilities in Bergen and Bjørnarfjorden municipality. The organisation must ensure good and satisfactory water supply and good and environmentally correct sewage treatment. The organisation has approx. 154 full-time equivalent and the turnover is approx. NOK 310 million per annum.

Bergen Vann KF is a municipal company in Bergen Municipality. Bergen Vann KF is currently localised in Spelhaugen 22 and at numerous water treatment and sewage treatment facilities. The contracting authority reserves the right to carry out supplier audits.

The contract is for the procurement of diving services.

Bergen Vann KF would like to enter into a framework agreement for diving services in Bergen and Bjørnafjorden Municipalities.

The diving services will mainly be used for checks and repairs of sewage pipelines/inverted siphons in various types of material above/below water.

In many cases it will be necessary to use a car/boat/ROV (small/large) to be able to carry out the assignments.

Aggregate run pumps can be required.

It can be necessary to assist the contracting authority with pigging operations on sewage pipelines, (i.e., in cases where there is a need to disconnect inverted siphons).

The following can be required:

Inspections and improvements of intake pipelines in raw water sources and water pipelines in the sea/freshwater.

Inspection of internal sewage and surface water pipelines, and inspection of tunnels/culverts.

Detection of emission pipelines (sewage and surface water).

ROV.

Some assignments will require the use of a ROV.

Small ROV: Can, for example, be suitable for inspecting mountain lakes.

Large ROV: Can, for example, be suitable for the deep water and currents.

HSE.

The tenderer must always comply with Bergen Vann's HSE procedures.

The tenderer must comply with the regulations for the execution of work (chapter 26 on health and safety for work underwater or in increased ambient pressure).

All those who work with sewage water must be vaccinated against: Tetanus, Polio, and Hepatitis A (Havrix).
