1.4.2018 to 31.3.2020.
Expression of interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors able to offer a competitive and reliable service in West Yorkshire wishing to be considered for the provision of a 2 year term heating, mechanical and L8 water management contract for all fire authority properties across the West Yorkshire area.
Contractors wishing to be considered will be required to be both a member of Constructionline and a recognised Safety Scheme in Procurement such as CHAS at the time of application (or, in the process of obtaining) and satisfy enhanced Security and Health and Safety assuredness.
There is no Pre- Qualification Questionnaire but interested contractors must provide relevant information as below.
— Brief résumé of company, management and workforce structure, type of work experience, company location and financial values of work undertaken
— Current client and contract portfolio including financial value
— Membership registration number of Constructionline or evidence of intended membership
— Membership registration number of an approved Safety Scheme in Procurement i.e. CHAS or evidence of intended membership
— Membership or accreditations of relevant trade organisations including Legionella Control Association for contracted L8 water management works
— Experience of working to specifications including SFG 20 requirements
Responses will need to be accompanied by supporting information as listed below, to allow shortlisting upon their suitability for the contract, prior to the tender invitation process.
— Trade accreditation certification
— Trading accounts for the last 3 years
— Company Health and Safety policy
— Samples of typical RAMS for mechanical and L8 works
— Confirmation of compliance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 2006
— Evidence of established background pre-employment staff checking procedures in
accordance with the HMG Security Policy Framework, to at least the Baseline
Personnel Security Standard
— GBP 5 million Public Liability insurance certificate
— GBP 10 million Employer's Liability insurance certificate
— Tax certificate details
— Three trading reference contacts, preferably including one Local Authority or Blue
Light, Emergency Services body.
