As the provider of the rescue service, the Ennepe-Ruhr district is the owner of 50 rescue service vehicles and 25 disaster control vehicles. The intention is to equip the fleet of the rescue service (max. 65 vehicles) and the disaster control (max. 35 vehicles) with fuel cards that can be used nationwide and to ensure the cashless purchase of fuels and lubricants, other products for the operation of vehicles, as well as a district-wide uniform billing procedure via this tank system.
The service to be awarded essentially includes the provision, use and ongoing service of fuel cards for the individual vehicles of the rescue services of the Ennepe-Ruhr district.
Per year, fuel costs of approx. € 400,000 net are incurred, with an average consumption of approx. 220,000 litres of diesel. The total demand (quantity estimates) results from the annual consumption and performance data as well as the corresponding experience as well as the forecast consumption values. They do not represent a binding purchase quantity.
The fuel cards are also intended to be used to obtain discounts on services provided by petrol stations/drop-off points.
The actual settlement price (free delivery point) is calculated from:
- the respective gross daily fuel price,
- less the corresponding agreed discounts.
The agreed discounts must be deducted directly from the daily fuel price on site and shown on the invoice.
The cards must be usable nationwide (i.e. in all federal states) (at least 5,000 acceptance points) and enable fleet management.
