The city administration of Bad Rappenau wants to modernize the IT infrastructure of the school. It affects the areas of servers, central storage, and the entire client environment. This involves the delivery, construction and commissioning of the hardware and migration / relocation of the virtual environment of the server systems based on VMware. The manufacturer's warranty must be provided for the intended period of use (lease period 60 months with extension options). After the end of the period of use, a qualified data deletion must take place. The focus of the project is on establishing operational readiness in the server area and the workstations.

The services for the creation of the overall system form a factual, economic and legal unit. For the client, it is essential for the contract that the contractor manufactures the functionality of the overall system agreed in this contract and takes all necessary steps for this. The contractor is the responsible general contractor for the creation of the overall system and is liable for the services of its subcontractors and its suppliers as well as for its own services.

The object of acceptance is the entire system within the meaning of this contract, unless partial acceptances have been agreed.

There will be no separate reimbursement of travel and ancillary expenses.

The leasing contract comes into force after successful acceptance (also partial acceptance), but at the earliest from 01.04.2023.

A rollout concept must be enclosed with the contract documents. This rollout concept also forms the basis of the documentation.
