In the past, flooding occurred again and again on the White Elster at the downstream of the city of Bad Köstritz locations Caaschwitz, Pohlitz and Silbitz, which caused considerable damage to the existing settlement and infrastructure. Due to the recurring flooding on the White Elster, a flood protection plan was drawn up by the project developer.
The subject of this call for proposals is the implementation of an area of measures. This includes:
- Extension of SW channel from pumping station and outlet PW DN 500 to crossing Elsterstr., incl. bypass during construction (Elsterstr. section),
- Brutalization (culvert) Hirschgraben from Elsterstraße to the mouth of the Weiße Elster, including laying of supply and disposal lines (Elsterstrasse section),
- Piping Hirschgraben Gebindstraße to Bahn (section Gebindstr. u. Köstritzer Str.)
Laying of the Hirschgraben water body as piping, cross-section of the new Hirschgraben earing as a trough channel with cover made of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, clear width 1.50 m; clear height 0.60 m; element length 2.0 m, 6 shaft structures for control; 2 phases of construction; 1st sections: Piping Elsterstraße to the mouth of the Weiße Elster, length approx. 60 m; 2nd section: Inlet structure Gebindstr. to railway line, length approx. 337 m; Additional measures: Construction of a SW sewer DN250 PP at a depth of 5.0 m, length 40 m; HW-PW discharge DN500 PE at a depth of 1.8 m, length 36 m; various cable laying, AWDRL, TWL, NS cable, MW sewer DN300 etc., crossing of traffic facilities in cut-and-cover construction: Köstritzer Str. (L3007), Gebindstr., Elsterstraße;
