The aim of the procurement is to ensure that the Contracting Authority has competence and capacity for work connected to the operation, maintenance and renovation of buildings and property, as well as minor building and construction assignments. The idea is that a complete spectrum of trades can be provided by tenderers through this contract.
Tenderers must be a total supplier of these trades and must be able to provide all the necessary trades for execution, including technical trades and ground work in the same assignment. If a tenderer does not have all the required trades himself, these trades must be provided through associated sub-suppliers, such as (but not necessarily limited to), building contractors, machine contractors, electro installers, HVAC and sanitation contractors and ventilation contractors.
The Contracting Authority intends to enter into parallel Framework Agreements with up to 2 companies.
The Framework Agreements will be valid for 2 years, with an option for 1 and 1 additional year, to a maximum of 8 years (2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1). The extension option will be automatically taken up each year unless the Contracting Authority gives notice on the contract at the latest 3 months before the contract period expires. The contract will automatically expire without notice when the contract has been in force for 8 years.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right, however, to enter into separate contracts within special trades of particularly great importance to the port if this is appropriate. This can, for example, be work that must be carried out by marine contractors. In addition to the Framework Agreement(s), the Contracting Authority will have separate service contracts for special technical installations. These are not included in this procurement.
