Bodø Municipality intends to enter into a framework agreement with a tenderer for marketing services for New Bodø.

The tenderer will provide marketing services. The contract will cover the following: 

'Bodø i vinden' has become New Bodø. New Bodø is a commitment that will create a good reputation for Bodø and the region, attract newcomers, and contribute to well-being for our inhabitants so that they are proud of where they come from. The commitment started when Bodø Municipality initiated a preliminary project in 2005 in order to find measures that would ensure that young labour is kept and recruited.

New Bodø will communicate beyond its municipality borders with a clear message in order to show that we are a region with very attractive attributes that will attract and keep competence in the north. In order to achieve this, it is important that our inhabitants believe what we say, and that they agree with us when we say that Bodø and the region is a good place to reside and live in. Building local pride is therefore an important part that New Bodø will work on.
