The project ‘West Coast Line’ is a new double circuit 400 kV overhead line from the substation Endrup to the Danish-German border and a new double circuit 400 kV overhead line from Endrup to Idomlund. The purpose for Energinet is to expand the trading capacity between Denmark and Germany by connecting the German and the Danish part of the West Coast Line. This is done in cooperation with the German TSO TenneT.
