Special education schools in the Netherlands have the obligation to map the social competences of pupils. Within Kentalis schools (so and vso) we do a measurement twice a year. Kentalis uses the Social Competence Observation List (abbreviated and hereinafter: SCOL) for measuring pupil skills with regard to social and societal competences – this SCOL is used nationally in both regular and special education, is managed/facilitated by ROVICT.
