West Devon Borough Council and South Hams District Council are seeking a contractor(s) to provide: delivery of Waste Collection, the management of collected dry recyclables, street cleansing and toilet cleaning services. West Devon Borough Council will be procuring a new Contract for all of these Services to commence on 1.4.2019. The Initial Contract Period will be for a minimum period of eight (8) years i.e. until 31.3.2027 and for a maximum of ten (10) years i.e. until 31.3.2029. The Contract will be capable of extension (on a mutually agreed basis) for one or more periods up to a maximum contract term of 20 years until 31.3.2039.
The contracting authority reserves the right to withdraw lots 1, 2 or 3 from the procurement process subject to proposals providing a more economical solution through this procurement against current in-house arrangements for South Hams District Council.
