Removal of filter backwash sludge from the settling plant Schachtteich Wienrode with a DM content of 0.1-4.5% by means of underwater vacuum cleaner or cutting head suction excavator or comparable device to a depth of 9 m below water level. Construction and operation of a sand settling plant. Use of existing stationary systems. Operation of the ventilation basins. Sludge dewatering with filter presses to at least 25% DS. Interim storage on an interim storage site to be built. Optional removal of the dewatered sludge to the recycling site. Filtrate return to the shaft pond in compliance with limit values (iron, manganese, residual polymer content). Setting up and operating flying lines, pumps and required equipment such as flocculants.
Total quantity:
Removal of approx. 81,000 m³ of sedimented thin sludge from filtrate backwashes of the Wienrode waterworks (raw water from dam) and dewatering of approx. 6,500 t filter cake (referring to 25% DS)
