Fv. [County Road] 53 between Øvre Årdal and Holsbru, on the stretch Årdal – Tyin.

The project is divided into 3 geographical areas. Ljoteli with tunnel and open air zones, landfill areas at Holsbru and a smaller landfill at Holsbruvannet.

A 1 100 m long tunnel will be constructed (T8.5 + sight expansion), as well as cuttings and transition zones. The assignment also includes complete electrical works in the tunnel.

At Holsbru (2,5–3,0 km over Ljoteli) approx. 600 m of open air road will be constructed, with cross section 6,5 m + “crawler lane”, Sa3.

From Holsbru and toward Holsbruvatnet, a 400 m long ditch will be established along the existing roads.

The assignment will primarily be implemented model based.
