The project national road 80 Hunstadmoen-Thallekrysset comprises the construction of a new approach road to the centre of Bodø from Hunstadmoen to Thallekrysset, as well as the development of approx. 500 metres of an arm of national road 80 towards Bodø Airport (Olav V's gate) to a dual carriageway.

National Road 80 Bodø tunnel shall be constructed as a tunnel with 2 runs, with a tunnel profile of T9 and dimensioned for 80 km/t.

This contract, Electro Hunstadmoen-Bodøelv, is a part of national road 80 Hunstadmoen-Thallekrysset, and it comprises electrotechnical work in Bodø tunnel, as well as electrotechnical work in open air zones outside the tunnel.

The delivery and assembly of cable risers through the entire tunnel is included in the contract. New lighting installations shall be established in the tunnel, consisting of LED fittings. Complete safety equipment shall be established, consisting of radio installations, emergency power installations, emergency stations with emergency telephones and fire extinguishers, stop signs, barriers and internally lit signs, as well as complete control, regulation and monitoring installations (SRO system). In addition to this, the contract includes the delivery and assembly of lane signals, camera surveillance, ventilation installations, control system for pump installations, installations in 4 technical buildings, as well as the delivery and assembly of signs and lighting in the open air.

Conduits, manholes, earthing, foundations for street lights and signs as well as pumps will be provided by the tunnel contractor.
