Markt Rennertshofen intends to build a new sewage treatment plant in the market municipality of Rennertshofen (Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district) with an expansion size of 8,000 PE.
,
Markt Rennertshofen operates and maintains extensive facilities for the collection, discharge and treatment of municipal wastewater in its respective municipal area. The water permits of the currently existing wastewater treatment plants Stepperg and Bertoldsheim of the market Rennertshofen expired at the end of 2020. Due to the age and structural condition of the sewage treatment plants as well as the increased demands on the cleaning performance in recent years, an increased renovation effort is to be expected.
,
As part of a wastewater structure concept study, a variant analysis for the future wastewater treatment of the Rennertshofen market was developed. Of the three variants presented, the client has now opted for option 2, the construction of a new main sewage treatment plant Rennertshofen in Bertoldsheim. Variants 1 and 3 are therefore no longer eligible. The wastewater concept study is attached to the documents.
,
Markt Rennertshofen intends to dissolve the existing sewage treatment plants in Stepperg and Bertoldsheim and replace them with a replacement construction of a main sewage treatment plant at the current location in Bertoldsheim. For the transfer of waste water to the main sewage treatment plant, a collective pressure pipe and an associated pumping station for the transfer must be built. The wastewater arriving at the existing Stepperg sewage treatment plant is to be fed to the new collection pumping station by restructuring and expanding the existing pressure pipe system and pumped from there to Bertoldsheim.
,
For the construction phase, the waste water from Bertoldsheim must be temporarily transferred to the Stepperg sewage treatment plant in order to avoid restrictions during the construction of the new plant. For this purpose, the necessary pressure pipeline between Stepperg, Rennertshofen and Bertoldsheim can be used. For the construction phase, a temporary pumping station is to be built for the transfer from Bertoldsheim to Rennertshofen. However, this can most likely no longer be used in the final state.
,
Markt Rennertshofen currently intends to acquire the neighbouring property at the site of the Bertoldsheim sewage treatment plant as a kind of buffer area. However, the client points out that the replacement new building is also possible without this neighbouring property.
,
Planning for the new construction of the Rennertshofen sewage treatment plant is to begin as soon as the contract has been awarded. Construction is initially scheduled to begin in the 3rd quarter of 2024. The municipality of Rennertshofen wants commissioning in the 3rd quarter of 2027. A first rough timetable drawn up by the client is enclosed with the documents.
,
A total of approximately EUR 15,340,600 gross (KG 200-700) can be assumed. It is intended to apply for funding within the framework of RZWas 2021.
