Ishøj Municipality wants to redevelop the Brohuset into the municipality's Medborger- and Health House. The bridge house has previously been used for vocational school and, in addition to demolition and new construction, the works will also include elements of modernization and redevelopment, as well as a redevelopment of the outdoor areas.

Previously, Stage 0, 1 and 2 have been completed. Stage 0 The south wing contains the Medical Clinic and Home Care. Stage 1, which is primarily north of Stage 3, consists of conversion to Senior Workshop and various association premises, while Stage 2, located south of Stage 3, consists of a newly built retraining centre as well as part of the outside areas. This task deals with Stage 3.

The task is offered in a two-level reprise competition with negotiation to four teams consisting of contractor, architectural, engineering and landscape architectural competencies, where the contractor is the bidder and contractor to Ishøj Municipality. Design and execution are carried out in a partneringcooperation with open calculations and financial incentive agreement.

This task deals with stage 3, which includes the demolition of the existing workshop hall, followed

of construction of three storey building as well as conversion of existing buildings for Citizen Arrival, Reception, Citizen Service, Centre for Employment and Business, Technical Operations & Service, Assistive Depot, Canteen Area and Bridge Association. New entrances will also need to be established/redeveloped. The outdoor areas are being renovated, including the establishment of parking areas as well as other fortified and green areas, amounting to about 10,000 m2, as well as existing stormwater pipelines are being upgraded and supplemented by new stormwater lines on the apron. The construction includes approximately 1,100 m2 of demolition, about 1,000 m2 of redevelopment and about 2,400 m2 of new construction, as well as interim measures. Further, solar cells are established. Work must be carried out while the building is in operation.
