DTU offers main contract agreement for refurbishment and renovation incl. environmental cleaning of the central wing in Building 116, corresponding to approx. 4,500 square meters spread over several floors.
DTU invites all interested main contractors etc. for information meeting on this tender. The information meeting will be held on 7.8.2019, kl. 14:00 in building 116, auditorium 81, Knuth-Winterfeldts Allé, Bygningstorvet, 2800 Kgs. Lyngby. Registration is not required.
Rebuilding and renovation are offered as the main contract agreement on the basis of a tender project and the rules in AB 18.
The tender is conducted on a limited tender.
Building 116 is the central learning environment building in the first quadrant at DTU Lyngby Campus - the building was built in 1974.
The refurbishment gives DTU a unique opportunity to rethink the auditorium building as a modern learning environment, update IT and AV equipment and expand the informal study environment in the building, thereby creating renewed use of the building.
The project includes rebuilding and renovating 3 auditoriums, 8 holding rooms and large foyer and distribution areas with associated toilet facilities. In addition, work will be done in connection with the building's climate screen, replacement of roof and high-level windows as well as the establishment of new entrance areas to the south and north.
The building's east and west wing is not included in this project. Both wings will be fully functional throughout the construction period.
The construction period extends from early February 2020 through November 2020.
