Gera, Kühnhausen to Gebesee, flood protection - 1st construction phase: New dike construction of the Walschleben industrial estate - Construction work

In the section from the railway embankment below Kühnhausen (Gera-km 11+400) to the K16 bridge at Morgenberg (Gera-km 7+650), a relocated flood protection system will be built on the right-hand side to prevent flooding of the Erfurt-Nordhausen railway line and the Walschleben industrial estate up to HQ(100).

For the construction of the new dike at the Walschleben industrial estate, including the dike route along the railway line, immediate execution was ordered.

Implementation is planned in 2 construction phases. In the present procedure, the first construction phase is put out to tender.

The subject of the present tender is the construction of a new dike at the Walschleben industrial estate over a length of approx. 700 m. The average height of the dikes is approx. 2 metres.

The subject of this tender is the implementation of the measures in BA 1, Walschleben commercial area with the following main construction services:

- Creation of construction roads 2,650 m

- Topsoil removal, creation of dike contact area 14,000 m²

- Supply and installation of support body material 24,000 m³

- Supply and installation of filter material 1,900 m³

- Laying geotextile filter prism 5,250 m²

- Soil replacement / manufacture relief slot 450 m³

- Schotterrasenbefestigung Deichverteidigungsweg 1.200 m²

- Asphalttragdeckschicht Deichüberfahrt 600 m²

- Ballast base course material road construction 750 m³

- Pipeline construction DN600 / DN800 50 m

- Topsoil application dike 22,000 m²
