The Swedish Polar Research Secretariat intends to procure a CTD winch for the icebreaker Oden. The tender concerns the design and installation of CTD winch and associated containers in which the winch is to be placed.

The Swedish Polar Research Secretariat (hereinafter referred to as SPRS) intends to invest in a versatile CTD winch system for icebreakers Oden. The scope of the procurement includes the design and commissioning of a versatile CTD winch system and an associated container where the winch is to be placed. The equipment must be installed by the supplier in a 20 "container including specified oceanographic wire, cables, cables, blocks / discs, grinding ring, junction boxes and signal distribution cables and be delivered ready for commissioning.

The scientific winch that handles equipment aboard research vessels is an important "tool" for the scientific activities. It is therefore of utmost importance that the capacity and functionality of the system is such that the handling of equipment over the bow and over the stern can be done safely and efficiently.

The contracting authority intends to sign an agreement with one (1) supplier with all specified conditions.

Since it is difficult for the contracting authority to describe the best technical solution for the system, the suppliers are free to propose how the CTD winch system should be designed. But the system offered must at least meet the mandatory criteria of this tender.

This procurement is carried out as an open procurement in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, LOU.

Tenders and all attachments must be in Swedish and / or English. Original documents issued by accredited third parties must be translated into English or Swedish at the tenderer's expense.
