Through this procurement, Tranås Municipality intends to sign a framework agreement for technical consultants in the field of bridge technology.
The procurement includes assessment/inspection of renovation needs, design and construction management for the renovation of bridges/tunnels and the construction of new bridges. Work that may be relevant within the framework agreement is to produce documentation for how bridges are to be renovated or, if necessary, replaced, also design of new bridges may be included. Bridge inspections with an assessment of the need for action may also be relevant.

The size, number and nature of the assignments may vary during the contract period and are not known at the time of procurement. Tranås municipality purchases this type of technical consulting services on an ongoing basis. Some projects of a different/special nature may be procured separately. Exceptional character refers to complex and/or unique projects.

The assignments take place mainly in Tranås urban area, but can also be spread throughout Tranås municipality.
