Description:
Stadion Uhlenkrug-Kieslrottentsorgung/Bodenmanagement

Bodenmanagementarbeiten, Erdmassenentsorgung, Kieselrotentsorgung

In spring 2023, Sport- und Bäderbetriebe Essen commissioned a soil survey for the modernization of the Uhlenkrug stadium sports facility in Essen.

As a planning specification, the existing large grass pitch was to be equipped with a hybrid turf.

The dilapidated 400-meter circular track made of threshing floor was to be given a synthetic surface. Furthermore, one segment was to be equipped with a synthetic surface, while the second segment was to be made with an artificial turf

At the same time, the conversion of the existing large threshing floor pitch into an artificial turf pitch is planned.

On the 400-meter circular track consisting of Tenne and the two segments, pebble red areas heavily contaminated with dioxins were found, as well as on the large Tennen playing field.

According to the current analyses carried out by the Lehmacher-Schneider laboratory and the AGROLAB laboratory on May 30, 2022 and June 22, 2022, the analyses revealed the following pollutant potential for the pollutants dioxins / furans:

Tennengroßspielfeld:

Upper threshing floor top layer: 130 ng/kg; Layer thickness 0.5-3.5 cm

Lower threshing floor: 6,500 ng/kg, layer thickness 1.5-7.5 cm

Career:

Upper threshing floor: 1,400 ng/kg, layer thickness 2.0-5.0 cm Lower threshing floor: 4,100 ng/kg, layer thickness 5.0-5.5 cm

The complete analysis results are attached to the appendix to this bill of quantities.

The loaded threshing floor ceiling is located on the large threshing floor pitch in a sandwich position between the upper and lower, not so heavily loaded threshing floor cover layers (see attached rule detail Existing structure).

During removal, it is not technically possible to separate the threshing floor cover layers, so that all 3 top layers have to be removed and disposed of in one go.

In the area of the raceway and segments, the loaded threshing floor ceiling lies beneath a layer of likewise loaded threshing floor material. Since both top layers are loaded here, it is not necessary to separate the top layers.

Details on the scope of the service can be found in the barrier-free service text.
