Energieversorgung Schwerin GmbH und Co. Generation KG is a 100% subsidiary of Stadtwerke Schwerin GmbH and has been operating a gas and steam turbine thermal power station at each of the Schwerin Süd and Schwerin Lankow locations since 1994.
The cogeneration plants put into operation in 1994 are to be modernized within the framework of the currently valid KWKG (in the version of 2017) - due to the advanced age of system parts and the energy requirements.
The modernization measures for the CHP plant in Schwerin Lankow essentially include the following measures:
- replacing the gas turbines with a Solar Titan 130,
- Conversion of the waste heat boiler from steam to hot water
- the resulting adaptation of waste heat boilers,
- the renewal of power plant control technology/electrical engineering as well as
- the modernization of further peripheral plant components.
The contractor must modernize the waste heat boiler systems 3 together with the exhaust gas ducts.
The scope of delivery essentially comprises the following components:
- Upgrading or rebuilding the bypass chimney to the higher exhaust gas temperature of the Solar Titan 130 gas turbine (in some cases > 550 °C),
- exhaust duct from the gas turbine outlet to entry into the boiler and bypass chimney section with installed muffler panels and expansion joints based on the dismantling initiated by the contractor,
- flue gas diverter flaps to the bypass chimney or waste heat boiler,
- compensator at the transition between the membrane pipe wall and the housing part of the waste heat boiler,
- silencer panels and compensator at the transition of the waste heat boiler to the chimney,
- new installation of a collector (former evaporator inlet collector),
- reconnection or piping of existing heating areas,
- dismantling the economizer heating surface (if necessary),
- installation of a pre-ventilation fan including the necessary duct parts and components,
- Complete fittings, sensors and all control and regulating drives and associated EMSR technology that are required for conversion to a pure hot water boiler,
