The audit work and the natural advisory function form a coherent whole that is carried out by one accounting firm.

An agreement is entered into with one contractor for a period of four years (covering the financial years 2022 to 2025), with one renewal option for the financial year 2026 and one renewal option for the financial year 2027.

The agreement will be effective about 1 June 2022, and the contractor must be available for the transfer of work of the departing party.

The Environment Service and the accountant work together to carry out the annual audits. The accountant is responsible for the realization of the planning (s) of all audit work.

During the financial year, the accountant carries out an interim audit, the so-called interim audit. This control is aimed at the operation of the administrative organizations of the Environmental Service.

The accountant carries out an annual audit every year. This audit results in the report of findings and the auditor's statement each year.

Natural advice results from the audit assignment and is considered an integral part of the service of an accountant.
