Introduction

The Tranås Municipality Procurement Unit, on behalf of the Community Building Administration, invites tenders for framework agreements regarding the sorting and treatment of municipal waste and less operating waste according to the invitation to tender.

Extent

The procurement refers to the sorting and treatment of municipal waste and less operating waste as set out below.

The municipal waste shall be sorted into disparate plastic bags for the fractions of food waste and residual waste. The bags of sorted waste are put in the same vessel or container. After collection and transhipment, the waste is transported to a sorting plant where the bags will be sorted machinally according to their colors.

- Green paint for food waste and any color except green to the residual waste.

The food waste should be treated by digesting and the residual waste burned.

Amounts:

Food and residual waste amounts to about 3500 tonnes per year.

Treatment of combustible coarse waste and combustible operating waste from smaller operations is approximately 2300 tonnes per year.

Treatment of about 200 tons of pressure-impregnated timber per year.

The quantities indicated are estimated by statistics from the year 2021 and may be both smaller and higher.

Shipments to the contractor's reception facility are not included in the procurement. Any transport for further processing shall be included in the mission.The contractor assumes responsibility for the continued care of the waste.
