BSA must deliver secure and stable ICT services to Bufetat and the directorate. The services comprise a computer centre and infrastructure, application and database operations, as well as processes connected to client, user support and maintenance. BSA's operations responsibility is partly carried out through internal services and partly through procurements. The assignment requires that BSA has systems that ensure good access control that is traceable in its establishment and during changes and that the organisation data is correct in the department's IT systems, including consultants and guests. BSA's assessments and assignments must support the general ICT strategy for the entity and contribute to a simplification of and reduced complexity in the range of ICT assignments. BSA must manage all required software licences and security certificates for the department and the directorate and ensure that licences and certificates are correct in legal and contractual terms, updated and at the optimum cost. All the systems must have the necessary security and must be seen as secure by users.
