Kviteseid Municipality would like to make the municipality building more energy efficient. In order to lower the heating costs, the municipality would like to replace approx. 100 windows with triple glazed low energy windows with a required U-value of 1.0 or better, including the frame.

Kviteseid Municipality would like to make the municipality building more energy efficient and would, thus, like to replace 93 windows. The tenderer must quality assure the measurements. The new windows must have an energy class with a required U-value of 1-0 or better, including the frame. The glass must reduce the heat from the sun on the windows by 50 - 55%. The windows must have hinges at the top with an opening that can be turned inside out so that the outside of the glass can be washed from inside the room. The tenderer can choose the window frame material. The window frames must be white.

The entrance door with a glass panel on the backside of the municipality building is also to be replaced. The new door must have access control and must meet the escape route requirements.

The work will consist of disassembling the current internal and external sun shading and delivering them to a certified refuse collection facility. The current windows must be taken out and delivered to a certified refuse collection facility. The new windows must be put in place with the necessary sealing/insulation around the window frames.
