The city of Strausberg intends to carry out a complex construction project on the main artery of the city - Berliner Straße with a length of approx. 2,000 m. The aim of the construction project is to significantly improve the traffic of the main road in the direction of the city centre, including adaptation to today's traffic needs, modernisation of the road space and optimisation of rainwater drainage. Since the current condition of Berliner Straße no longer meets the requirements for an important traffic axis of the city, a corresponding redesign is planned, taking into account current technical standards. For this purpose, interested engineering and planning offices with relevant skills and experience are sought.
The contract will be awarded in stages without a legal claim to the commissioning of all service levels.
Specialist planning services for traffic facilitiesThorough renovation of Berliner Straße and part of August-Bebel-Straße, covers a length of approx. 2,000 m plus. 280 m from the "small" A.-Bebel-Straße.
The planning area includes Berliner Straße, from the junction of Elisabethstraße to Elefantenpfuhl / junction of Altlandsberger Chaussee, as well as a section of A.-Bebel-Straße
Berliner Straße is the main thoroughfare with encounter traffic, trucks/trucks, bus traffic.
-Road and path planning is required in the overall context, but the implementation of the construction measures is carried out in construction phases.
The planning engineering office is expected to:
* Variant study for possible bicycle traffic routing (protective strip on the road or separate footpath/cycle path) with the participation of ADFC, Road Traffic Office
* Investigation of the intersection situation Elisabethstraße/widening of side space; especially with regard to the management of cycling
* barrier-free design side space
* Investigation of the need for further crossing points, with or without traffic lights
* Consideration of parking facilities in the area A.-Bebel-Str.
* Consideration of the Strausberger Eisenbahn GmbH track system and existing stop areas; Continuous tram operation is to be guaranteed
* Planning including access roads (usually 3/5m)
* Connection of the side streets usually to the end of the curve, check visual triangles, if necessary connection of cycle paths
* Consideration of tree population or location options for new plantings
* Early involvement of public interest bodies with regard to claims / eligibility for approval as well as utilities with regard to line co-laying and re-laying
Specialist planning services for civil engineering structuresThe preliminary planning for rainwater drainage has already been carried out and forms the basis for further planning. The scope of planning includes the renewal of the rainwater drainage system over the entire length of Berliner Straße, including connections to side streets and connections to buildings / courtyard areas, as well as the classification into roadway, track-facing lane and the construction of a new rainwater drainage system in Fontanestraße and Max-Liebermann-Straße. The planning requires a review of necessary measures at the discharge points, if necessary their planning and implementation. It is also necessary to calculate the dimensioning / planning of the Fontanestraße rainwater pumping station.
