The Municipalities of Castelfranco Emilia and San Cesario sul Panaro intend to contract the design and management of "school and extracurricular transport services" for the period 01/09/2022 - 31/08/2025 (36 months).

The services covered by this assignment are composed of the following services:

a) home-school school transport and vice versa to and from primary and secondary schools located on the municipal territories of Castelfranco and San Cesario (capital and hamlets);

b) transport for trips and educational outings in urban and extra-urban areas, during school and extracurricular hours, for activities promoted or supported by the Municipalities of Castelfranco Emilia and San Cesario sul Panaro;

Other optional services are indicated in the respective Specifications of the Municipalities of Castelfranco Emilia and San Cesario sul Panaro in art. 2.

The contract has as its object the assignment of the service of Design and management of school and extracurricular transport services for the period 01.09.2022 – 31.08.2025 of the Municipality of Castelfranco Emilia;

Given the complexity of the school system of each institution and the need to work on the coherence and harmonization of interventions between school transport and transport for educational trips / outings in the school and extracurricular environment and, moreover, in order to allow unity in the planning of interventions, it was considered appropriate to guarantee a unitary management of services in relation to each lot.

Departure and return for the performance of trips for trips / outings during school hours and replacement activities must in fact necessarily take place according to timing and methods suitable to ensure the smooth running of ordinary school transport.

In addition, the optimization resulting from the intersection of travel between ordinary transport and transport for trips / exits will allow economies of scale for the contractor and, therefore, reductions in expenses for each entity
