Renovation of the Augustinian Museum, 3rd construction phase, Augustinerplatz 1-3, 79098 Freiburg, Germany
Production and assembly of showcases and exhibition furniture:
The newly designed temporary exhibition at the Augustinian Museum in Freiburg is to be held on two floors in total. 5 sub-areas with an area of around 770 m² will preserve exhibition furniture and showcases including their lighting of various kinds. The designs and sizes of the showcases vary from small, free-standing showcases to large wall-mounted showcases, all of which meet high conservation requirements and must be designed accordingly, including freedom from harmful substances. Likewise, exhibition furniture and exhibition buildings are to be made of wood and steel, which are to serve both as seating furniture and as presentation furniture. A high museum standard is placed on all buildings. Part of the order will be coordination with other trades such as lighting technology and graphics. For the installation, some interventions have to be made in the existing building, e.g. display case installation in facing shell, railing installation.
