The city of Kandel intends to build a replacement building for the existing day care center Landauer Straße 27. Immediately adjacent to the existing outer surface of the KiTa is an urban plot previously used as a playground. By combining the two plots, a sufficiently large construction field is created for a five-row replacement building with the associated open spaces. As part of a preliminary investigation, a two-storey, detached building with a second structural escape route over a balcony was proposed.
