The Institute for Transuranium Elements (ITU) intends to construct on its site a separate laboratory and warehouse building as a nuclear installation for handling radioactive substances, authorised in accordance with paragraph 9 of the Atomic Energy Act (Atomgesetz) in conjunction with paragraph 7 of the Radiation Protection Regulation (Strahlenschutzverordnung).

Carrying out this project will require, during the construction and commissioning phase of the project initiated by the ITU (contractor/operator), supervision/construction and commissioning management services for the individual trades involved in the construction, as well as planning control services.

The contract will run for 40 months.
