The implementation consultant will provide technical assistance, advisory services and capacity development measures to drive forward the frame conditions for improved SWM in the municipalities of Berat qark and pave the ground for future regional infrastructure investments. The services of the consultant shall include:

(1) institutional strengthening (advisory services and capacity development; mainly at the municipal level);

(2) preparation of Local and Regional Plans on Integrated Waste Management and Feasibility Study aiming at future Regional Investment Measures;

(3) awareness raising and public information measures;

(4) design and implementation of short-term measures (for further details see Tender Documents).
