AFATEK A/S (hereinafter "AFATEK") is currently responsible for transporting, reprocessing and disposing of slag for recycling for a number of incineration plants on Zealand.

The treatment of the combustion slag takes place at the slag site located on Selinevej, Kø-benhavn.

The purpose of this tender is to ensure the transport of combustion slag on a sound economic basis and at a high quality and environmental level.

The tender includes a contract for the transport of combustion slag from the incineration plant at I/S Norfors (hereinafter referred to as "Norfors") to AFATEK's slag site on Selinevej in Copenhagen. The transport of the combustion slag must be done in containers. The estimated annual volume to be transported is 33,000 tons.

The carrier is obliged to arrange for the continuous collection and weighing of the containers with slag that are filled at the incinerator in line with the plant's ongoing production of slag.

Collection of the containers must be done using the Carrier's own vehicles. The containers used for collecting and transporting slag are owned by Norfors.

The containers must be picked up and disposed of at the incinerator's automatic container magazine. The container magazine has a capacity of 16 containers.
