The project includes the engineering design of new deposting tracks at the Skien railroad station and includes the engineering of the construction and building works and railway engineering works (tracks, contact conductor lines, electric power and telecommunications).

The contract does not include the railway signaling work. The contract will be honored by accrued time (work based on a cost-plus basis), and shall be conducted from December 2012 until June 2016. The contract includes a total of 5 new deposting tracks. Jernbaneverkets assignment organization is located at Lysaker, Bærum / Oslo.
