The purpose of this contract includes support work for the control and monitoring of urban wastewater treatment facilities in the agglomerations of more than 2,000 equivalent inhabitants of the Autonomous Community of Galicia. The tasks to be carried out will consist, among others, of assisting the person responsible for the contract in the control, supervision and inspection work of the hydraulic installations under the responsibility of local authorities.

The provision covered by the contract includes the work necessary to advise the municipalities on the purification facilities they own, as well as the control necessary to ensure compliance with current regulations on purification, with the performance of the necessary analytics and the collection of information required for the preparation of periodic reports on their status and conservation.

It also includes the preparation of global reports on purification facilities within the Autonomous Community of Galicia, necessary to send to other competent bodies in the field, or to evaluate the state of the installations in certain specific aspects as a whole.

All this information needs to be centralized in the computer application of the Information System for Control of Wastewater Treatment Plants (SICEDAR) of Aguas de Galicia, which continuously requires evolutionary, adaptive and perfective development and corrective maintenance that guarantees its functionality and operability and which must necessarily be carried out within the scope of this service.
