Europe-wide award of project management services for the demolition and new construction of the brine bath "Rappsodie".

The municipal council of the city of Bad Rappenau has approved the conceptual realignment of the "RappSoDie". A tripartite bathroom concept consisting of sports and family pool, brine bath and sauna is planned.

The demolition and new construction of the brine bath at the previous location is planned, in which the existing sauna infrastructure is to be preserved.

According to current planning, the city of Bad Rappenau expects preliminary creditable manufacturing costs of a total of around EUR 34.2 million net (KG 200-700 according to DIN 276-1:2008-12).

Completion of the construction project is planned by the end of 2022 at the latest.

The subject of the present proceedings is now the awarding of project management services for the demolition and new construction of the brine bath in Bad Rappenau.

The intention is to commission project levels 1-5 (cf. AHO publication series, issue no. 9). First of all, the award-related basic services of project management of areas A to E of project levels 1 and 2 are to be commissioned. In addition, special services may be commissioned as optional services, insofar as this proves necessary or useful on the basis of further project development.

A sectional and phased assignment is intended, there is no entitlement to further assignment.

The awarded services are expected to be provided from 1 November 2022 and are expected to be completed by 31 December 2028.

The applicants selected as part of the competition will receive further details on the scope of the services to be provided with a request to submit an offer.
