The contract for the “earthworks and structural work” for the Academy for Theater and “Digitality” is to be awarded. The academy is a building where theater technicians and artists do research and are trained. The rooms serve primarily as workshops and experimental rooms and are not intended for events with an audience. The building is planned as a 3-storey cube with a flat roof. The shell is planned as a reinforced concrete structure. The foundation is made on a base plate with a surrounding frost apron. The partial basement is designed as a "white tub". Rising walls are made of in-situ concrete. Ceilings as filigree elements, in the large laboratory as T-plate ceilings. The concrete surfaces remain visible, but should only meet the visual requirements of a workshop building.
