This notice relates to the establishment of a framework agreement for the provision of design services which may from time to time be required on the Havant Thicket Winter Storage Reservoir Project (the ‘Project’) (other than principal designer services) and general smaller scale design services of the same nature (the ‘Framework Agreement’).

The procurement of the framework agreement was carried out together with the procurement of the principal designer for the Project, together advertised in OJEU contract notice 2018/S 157-360732.

However this award notice relates only to the award of the framework agreement. The principal designer contract was the subject of a separate award notice dated 29.3.2019.

The highest scoring 3 tenderers (including the successful tenderer) for the principal designer contract have been admitted to the framework agreement, from which other design services required for the Project and general small scale design services may be called off from time to time by Portsmouth Water. The term of the framework agreement is eight (8) years, although the duration of individual call-off contracts may be shorter or longer. These call-offs may be in connection with the Project or Portsmouth Water’s business as usual activities.

No guarantee has been given that any such call-offs will be made and the framework agreement will not be exclusive. The total value of the framework agreement, if call-offs are made, is unlikely to exceed the amount set out in II.1.7 above. The figures provided in V.2.4 are for indicative purposes only.
