Universal Design is defined as design of products and surrounding in a manner that they can be used by all people, as much as possible, without the need for special adaptations. The aim is that construction work and outdoor areas are designed so that the main solutions are usable by all, as long as the special character or function of the building does not indicate otherwise. The measures are also considered against a cost and benefit assessment.
