As part of an urban reorganization in the valley city, the city of Schramberg intends to build a new school campus and daycare center. A 5-group daycare center, a 4.5-speed combined school (secondary school, 2-speed+ community school, 2-speed+ community school) with canteen and a 7-group special education and counselling center (SBBZ) are to be developed on the approximately 25,534 m² competition site.
For this purpose, the city of Schramberg held an architectural competition followed by a procurement procedure with the prize winners of the competition. The project is realized by Kamm Architekten BDA, Stuttgart.
The procurement procedures for specialist engineers for the new building of the daycare center were already carried out in 2020. The planned start of construction for the day care center is at the end of 2021. The subject of the award procedure announced here is the new construction of the Verbund School with SBBZ, including canteen and nursery.
A suitable engineering office is sought for the services of specialist planning TGA according to sections 53, 55 HOAI ALG 1-3, optional 8 (HLS), LPH 1-9. The assignment should take place in stages. In the first stage, the work phases 1-2 are commissioned.
The technical planning TGA (electrical) is the subject of a separate contract notice.
The 4-storey building on the slope is divided by incisions and atriums to illuminate the deep areas of the building. A realization in timber construction from board stackable ceilings and thickwood walls, or wood-hybrid construction is planned. Energy requirements are covered by a combined heat and power plant with heat recovery and power generation.
The NUF is approximately 6,730m².
The total project costs KG 300+400 are estimated at around €25.4 million gross.
Planning starts (LP 1+2) immediately after completion of the VGV procedure, planned start of construction 01/2024, planned completion 07/2026.
The new building should serve as a role model in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency.

Energy demand coverage:
There is currently a local heating network between the EJS (headquarters), Peter Meyer School, Karl
Diehl hall and castle. The currently installed output is approx. 1200 kW. As part of the replanning, a new heating centre is to be planned for the building complex, which will supply all school buildings and can also be extended in the future for the Berneck School and the Light Play House. The sports hall and castle should also continue to be considered in the local heating concept. The heat pipes are already very old and should be renewed as part of the overall measures. The future heating centre is to be located in the new Verbund School.
,
Acoustics:
Particular emphasis is placed on very good acoustic conditions. Due to the inclusion of hearing-impaired children, sound insulation in building construction according to DIN 4109 and DIN 18041 “Hearing in small and medium-sized rooms” must also be considered.
,
Indoor climate:
In addition, special emphasis is placed on the expected interior quality. This includes, in particular, good indoor air quality, which is to be ensured by a controlled ventilation system. The window ventilation should also be taken into account in the ventilation concept.
,
Water:
Structural requirements for the use of rain and gray water in the building and in particular for irrigation of the open spaces must be taken into account.
