The Bamberg Social Foundation (SSB) is a foundation under public law. The Bamberg Social Foundation operates a maximum care hospital in the city of Bamberg (about 80,000 inhabitants) (Klinikum Bamberg with the locations Klinikum am Bruderwald and the Klinikum am Michelsberg) and treats around 45,000 inpatient and 165,000 outpatient cases annually. In 1982, the clinics of the SSB were officially awarded the status of Academic Teaching Hospital of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen Nürnberg. Behind this title stands the high medical competence of the various departments of the clinics of the SSB with individual clinical training in the Academic Teaching Hospital active famulists and students. The Bamberg Clinic intends to procure a new iCBCT and navigation system for uncompromising clinical use with the highest requirements for the Neurosurgical, Trauma Surgery and ENT departments.
The hospital has extensive care both in the competence centers and in numerous special areas.
The object of the order is the delivery and installation of the system described in this document until the handover of the fully functional technical systems including all accessories required for operation, the complete networking with the IT landscape of the hospital, training/instruction of the operating personnel and training on the operating philosophy of the system as well as full maintenance (including safety and metrological control – STK/MTK, if necessary) of the system for a period of 8 years after the end of the two-year warranty period. Likewise, the Contractor shall fully assume the dismantling and disposal of the existing existing facilities, including all necessary technical systems that are not required for further operation.
The delivery of the ICBCT must take place after written order placement in 2022 (receipt in the goods receipt of the client):
