Concept studies as well as comprehensive planning services etc. for the company premises Agathofstraße 15 in Kassel.
In 2022, KVG commissioned a feasibility study on the alignment of the depots. For the expansion and modernization of the tram and bus fleet, KVG's existing depots are to be expanded and modernized by 2030. The overall project is divided into 2 phases, namely:
Phase A: Conversion and modernization of the location Sandershäuser Straße 23 and expansion by the locations Agathofstraße 15 and Sandershäuser Straße 59
Phase B: Conversion and modernisation of the Wilhelmshöhe site into a depot for trams
The subject of this award procedure is the planning services for a conversion of the site at Agathofstraße 15 for future purposes of the KVG. The KVG does not intend to implement the other planning services of Phase A and the services of Phase B until later.
The existing buildings at Agathofstraße 15 include the former factory halls and the administration building of Hübner GmbH & Co. KG. The short- and long-term conversion of the site is the subject of this tender.
With this Europe-wide award procedure, the KVG wants to commission an interdisciplinary planning team that includes the main specialist planners. We are looking for a reliable, efficient and qualified planning team that will provide planning services efficiently and in compliance with the principle of economic efficiency. At the same time, a high level of understanding of functionality and solution-oriented creativity are expected in order to show KVG the best possible ideas and then implement them.
For this reason, KVG intends to commission various concept studies, etc., as well as certain planning and engineering services for object planning (buildings and interiors, open spaces, engineering structures, traffic facilities), structural engineering and technical equipment as well as surveying during planning, construction surveying and safety and health coordination. The exact services can be found in particular in the service description (Appendix 1 of the tender documents). A planning team or general planner is to provide these services, if necessary with the involvement of the corresponding specialist planners as subcontractors. The assignment takes place in stages.
