The contracting authority would like to enter into a continuing service contract for winter maintenance and associated services.

The contract will mainly cover winter maintenance on municipal ground and roads. The winter maintenance consists of snow ploughing, clearing snow and ice, grading, gritting, and responsibility for setting out and removing snow poles. The service will, as a starting point, only be required in the winter, but parts of the preparatory and after work, such as sweeping (option), can be done outside the winter season. There are individual options for certain types of assignments that are governed by political decisions and economic capacity. The ground and roads (objects) included in the contract are split into six snow ploughing areas.

The contract includes an option for the following areas, which tenders can also be submitted for:

- Snow ploughing, snow clearing, grading, and gritting private roads

- Sweeping private roads

- Sweeping municipal ground and roads

- Snow ploughing on pavements and paths

- Removal and maintenance of vegetation at the side of roads

- Snow ploughing and clearing snow by sports grounds
