SWEG Südwestdeutsche Landsverkehrs-AG (SWEG for short) is a transport company with state participation and, together with subsidiaries, operates regular bus services in urban and interurban areas (ÖPNV) as well as rail passenger transport (SPNV) in numerous regions of Baden-Württemberg.

The SWEG intends to purchase a wheel contact force measurement system for its workshop in 72501 Gammertingen.

The registry reserves the right to change the requirements in the further course of the award procedure.

A wheel contact force measurement system is required to determine wheel and axle loads as well as the total weight of rail vehicles (primarily Alstom Lint 54). A mobile system is to be procured, which is ready for operation and is to be installed in the recess provided on site, taking into account all necessary tests and acceptances. The acquisition of the data should be done by bogie (static / 2 wheelsets at the same time) despite the variable center distances.

Upon delivery and after acceptance, the wheel contact force measuring system must meet the requirements of the specification of services and all relevant ordinances, regulations, DIN standards and quality marks in the latest versions.
