Description of the procurement
A DESYUM visitor centre with offices and exhibition, conference and event areas will be built on the DESY campus in Hamburg.

The building is divided into 5 floors with an exhibition on the ground floor and 1st floor, office use on the 2nd and 3rd floor as well as multifunctional rooms and roof terrace on the 4th floor. In the basement there is a lecture room, the cloakroom as well as storage and technical areas.
The order "Electrical installations, FM, IT" includes the delivery and installation:
Construction of the high-voltage system including an emergency power generator with an output of 320 KW for the safety power supply of the safety-related system components in the event of a power failure. The power supply systems consist of NSHV-AV and NSHV-SV main distributors as well as 13 sub-distributions, which are accessed via two separate busbar systems through the riser shafts from the basement to the 4th floor. All installation components of the low-voltage installation are carried out in a flush-mounted and/or AP installation, including the cable laying systems in the floor and ceiling area. All cables and wires may only be laid in the halogen-free version. The entire window façade will be equipped with an electric sun protection system. For the implementation of the control of lighting fixtures, a DALI control is provided and in addition, the lighting and sun protection system receives a KNX bus control with integrated weather station on the roof. In the areas of building security technology, a fire alarm system, BOS system, room monitoring system, voice alarm, people counting system and security lighting are planned, among other things.
The entire building will also receive a halogen-free Ethernet CAT 7 with star-shaped cabling starting from two server rooms planned in the building (basement and 3rd floor). An I/O system will be installed in the building to record and transmit messages and status displays from all switchgear.
