Paragon Asra Housing Limited is an award-winning provider of around 24 000 affordable homes across London, Midlands and the South East of England. The proposed Framework will allow for the delivery of Fire Safety Improvement Works to blocks owned and managed by PA Housing across London and the South East to meet its responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The Framework will also allow for the installation of Automatic Fire Detection Systems and Emergency Lighting as required. The client may require the installers to undertake the servicing of their installations beyond the end of the defects period.
Candidates should note that PA Housing requires the main contractor to undertake all Fire Safety Improvement Works. Only Automatic Fire Detection System and Emergency Lighting installations may be sub-contracted by the main contractor.
Candidates should note that the estimated Framework value is 9 600 000 GDP inclusive of VAT.
The works will include the delivery of Fire Safety Improvement Works to blocks owned and managed by Paragon Asra Housing Limited to meet its obligations and responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This may include but is not restricted to:
— Supply and installation of Fire Doors — communal and individual dwellings,
— Supply and installation of fire signage,
— Passive Fire Protection and any associated works,
— Automatic Fire Detection System Installations (and servicing),
— Emergency Lighting installations,
— In addition, sprinkler systems may also be included at the client's discretion.
The annual estimated value for the works is 2 400 000 GDP. Please note these figures are inclusive of VAT.
The main contractor will be required to hold all the required certifications for undertaking Fire Safety Improvement Works. Their chosen sub-contractor for Automatic Fire Detection System and Emergency Lighting Installations must hold all the required certifications for undertaking these works.
